I expected traditional 501s, and was so excited to get a new pair of jeans. What arrived were pre-torn jeans (still stupid) with an unnaturally high waist. The only similarities to my beloved 501s were the buttons and the label. Returning these sad, silly pants to you. I suppose I shouldn’t have set my expectations so high these days.

No, I do not recommend this product.

They are so similar to my 515s from 1999!

I used to love 501s in the late 90s, with a special love to the women's 511/515's fits, which were very close to the original non-stretch 501's from today. I only wish the waistline would have a slightly bit of more stretch, but overall very much satisfied with the fit.
